Indications for use:

• Dehydration (due to diarrhea, vomiting, excessive sweating).

• Electrolyte imbalance.

• Prevention and treatment of heat exhaustion and heat cramps.

Contraindications:

• Individual intolerance to components.

• Severe dehydration requiring intravenous fluids.

• Kidney dysfunction.

• Diabetes mellitus.

• Hyperkalemia (elevated potassium levels in the blood).

Composition (per sachet):

• Potassium chloride: 2.5 g.

• Sodium chloride: 3.5 g.

• Sodium citrate: 2.9 g.

• Anhydrous glucose: 10.0 g.

Preparation and administration:

1. Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 1 liter of boiled cooled water.

2. Store the prepared solution in the refrigerator at 2–8 °C and use within 24 hours.

3. Drink in small sips at regular intervals.

Recommended doses:

• For adults and children: Initial dose – 10 ml/kg body weight over the first 4–6 hours.

• Subsequently – 5–10 ml/kg after each episode of loose stool or vomiting.

Precautions:

• Do not add sugar or other substances to the solution.

• For severe dehydration, seek medical attention.
